Stumbling Blocks

These are exactly what I saw one day, and are still there today.  Truth.  They were not there the night before.  No earth was dug up outside my home. There were no workers in the vicinity.   And no child could have lifted them and placed them in the position they are now.  Besides their width is greater than the railing in which they are sitting.  So, where did they come from?

I often tell people, I live for the supernatural. What happens to me does not ordinarily happen to other folk.  With that said, I immediately questioned the Holy Spirit, why were they there and what did they mean?   A few days later, I heard,”Stumbling Blocks.

The definition of a stumbling block is any cause of stumbling, perplexity, error, or temptation.  It is the trigger of a trap, which causes a negative cause-and effect relationship.

John 16: 1  “These things I have spoken to you in order to clear stumbling-blocks out of your path.

1 John 2:10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in  him.

Simply stated, do not be an offense to anyone.

To offend means “to strike against,” “to displease” “to make angry,” “to do harm to,” “to affront,”  “to cause to sin”, “to cause anger; it is “to sin.

Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offenses for it must needs be that offences come, but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh.

Matthew 13:41 the Son of Man shall send forth his messengers [Angels], and they shall gather up out of his kingdom [the earth is the Lord’s] all the stumbling-blocks and those doing the unlawlessness.

If you have caused another to stumble, Repent and ask the Lord’s forgiveness.  If someone else has caused you to stumble, forgive them and give them to the Lord.

Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law and nothing shall offend them.
